Babies taste what mothers eat. What mom eats influences the baby’s taste buds, which develop in the womb at week nine of pregnancy. During pregnancy, the flavors of the food you eat can pass to your baby through the amniotic fluid that surrounds them. What you eat may affect the taste of your breast milk after pregnancy.
Babies feel a shiver when you drink cold water. It’s a trick that sonographers suggest – you drink a glass of cold water when you want to check if the baby is doing well. The cold temperature could wake your baby up a bit.
