Due to being attacked from many sides by predators, the buffalo could not manage in time. When the buffalo lost focus, a hyena stealthily launched a poison move aimed directly at the danger of its prey.
The attack was too dangerous, the buffalo showed pain, lost all its strength and collapsed to the ground. Although it tried to get up to run away, all its efforts were not rewarded when the hyenas persisted.
The hyena is a relatively common carnivore in Africa, making an important contribution to helping balance the ecosystem here. They are quite intelligent and cunning animals, with the habit of hunting in groups and active at night.
Although considered a scavenger, in fact, hyenas are extremely effective predators, a large part of their food source coming from hunting live prey. In Africa, hyenas are second only to lions in strength when it comes to one-on-one close combat. The hyena’s favorite prey includes: zebra, wildebeest or wild buffalo.
The main weapon of the hyena when hunting is its large jaws and sharp teeth. Once tormented by hunger, hyenas will not hesitate to attack, eat anything in front of their eyes, including their own kind.
